What next Google did for Internet worms is to push much of the processing from processor to Internet itself. For which Google brought gOS, a modified version of Ubuntu of Linux specially made to run Google applications like GMail, Google Document on to your desktop. It will also run OpenOffice, an open-source office suite to handle Microsoft Word documents, a multimedia application like Xing DVD, video player, and Rhythmbox music management.
Anybody would love to have all the necessary software on their desktop for Web 2.0 applications at 1.5 GHz processing, 512 MB of memory and an 80 GB hard drive. In US, Wal-Mart is just waiting to receive only $199, which may change your mindset for sometime, for this Web wonder.
